Recognition
of a Customer’s Expectation of Privacy
The Bank recognizes that
customers expect the highest level of privacy and confidentiality
when it comes to their personal information. We are committed to
maintaining that level.
Use,
Collection, and Retention of Customer Information
The Bank will collect, retain
and use information about individual customers only where we believe
it would be useful (and allowed by law) to administer business and
to provide products, services and other opportunities to its
customers.
Maintenance
of Accurate Information
The Bank will establish
internal procedures that ensure a customer’s financial information
is accurate, current and complete in accordance with reasonable
commercial standards. The Bank will respond to requests to correct
inaccurate information in a timely manner.
Limiting
Employee Access to Information
The Bank will limit employee
access to personally identifiable information to those with a
business reason for knowing such information. The Bank will ensure
employees understand the importance of confidentiality and customer
privacy. The Bank will take appropriate disciplinary measures where
necessary to enforce employee privacy responsibilities.
Protection of
Information Via Established Security Procedures
The Bank will maintain
appropriate security standards and procedures regarding unauthorized
access to customer information.
Restrictions
on the Disclosure of Account Information
The Bank will not reveal
specific information about customer accounts or other personally
identifiable data to unaffiliated third parties for their
independent use, unless:

the information is provided
to help complete a customer initiated transaction;

the customer requests it;

the disclosure is required
by/or allowed by law (i.e. subpoena, investigation of fraudulent
activity, etc.);

the customer is informed
about the possibility of such disclosure for marketing or similar
purposes through a prior communication and is given the
opportunity to decline;

the exchange of information
with reputable credit bureaus or other information reporting
agencies is necessary to maximize the accuracy and security of
such information; or

the exchange of information
is required in the performance of bona fide corporate due
diligence
Maintaining Customer
Privacy in Business Relationships with Third Parties.
If personally identifiable customer
information is provided to a third party, the Bank will insist that
the third party adhere to similar privacy principles that keep such
information confidential.
Protection of
Children
The Bank does not knowingly solicit data
from children, and we do not knowingly conduct on-line marketing to
children. We recognize that protecting children's identities and
privacy on-line is important and that the responsibility to do so
rests with both the on-line industry and with parents.
